Tic Tac Traveler Game Specifications

They don't make games like they used to--or do they? This old-fashioned backgammon and checkers set uses natural materials to create a gaming kit that might have been used at the turn of the last century. The wooden game pieces are made of two shades of wood to designate the two sides. The pieces are designed to stack so they'll lock together when a checker becomes a king. The checkerboard is printed in traditional black and red squares on a sturdy piece of stiff canvas. Flip the checkerboard over and on the other side is a backgammon board, with the checkers serving double duty as backgammon pieces. Three wooden dice and complete instructions are also included. All the pieces store away neatly in an attractive 12-by-5-inch wooden box with a clear plastic cover that slides off. A great idea for a family gift. --Marcie Bovetz
