Our Velvet Backgammon Set is an extra large, tournament size backgammon set with a beautiful red leatherette case with green cork playing surface accented by red and black points. To this we add red and black mother-of-pearl plastic chips that look gorgeous together. We use 1/8" thick cork for the playing surface and side rails which makes for a soft, quiet roll of the dice. The result is an excellent playing surface with flush points so that you can slide chips from point to point, unlike sewn or glued points found on cheaper sets which tend to catch the chips.
