The Monochrome Tournament Size Backgammon Set Overview
Our Monochrome Backgammon Set is an extra large, tournament size backgammon set with a black leatherette case with a gray cork playing surface accented by black and white points. To this we add black and white mother-of-pearl plastic chips that look gorgeous together. We use 1/8" thick cork for the playing surface and side rails which makes for a soft, quiet roll of the dice. The cork has 3 coats of stain to create a beautiful, rich color and then we silk screen the points. The result is an excellent playing surface with flush points so that you can slide chips from point to point, unlike sewn or glued points found on cheaper sets which tend to catch the chips.
You will find high quality hardware including hinges and latches plus we added the extra feature of brass corners to protect the case when you take it out. This backgammon set includes 2 dice cups, two sets of dice, and a doubling cube. All in all, this backgammon set has features serious players love and that you normally find on backgammon sets priced over 0 at less than half the price.
